Over the past four-five years three different aircraft carriers have visited Oslo. From my boat commute I took pictures of these.

This is the USS Iwo Jima in the process of departing in September 2018

It’s not quite an aircraft carrier…

It’s an amphibious assault ship. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Iwo_Jima_(LPH-2)

It looks aircraft-carrierish to me…

So what does a real aircraft carrier look like then?

This is the HMS Queen Elizabeth and it visited Oslo in november 2022.

Now this is an aircraft carrier!

It carries aircraft!

And look at those two…

What are they called again?

There is two of them. The housey looking things on top of the boat.

And that ramp..

made for ramping it up.

This is a boat!

I would very much like one of those

to launch all my aircraft

into the air

Looks like the crew is leaving…

Hope that’s all of them…

This is my chance..

Looks like I have to get up there to drive it

This should be easy

Just need to find a way..

Maybe this is the way?

If I can climb up that hose…

Should be easy…

My own aircraft carrier, Cool!

That hose plan didn’t wok but I got out on parole just in time for this!

This is the USS Gerald Ford. The largets warship in the world.

To get on board I will need a boat like the small one in front.

Or maybe I sahould steal this first to get to the carrier?
